Delta County Democratic Party Co-Chairs Jeff Skeels and Dea Jacobson along with Secretary Debbie Kimball welcomed and introduced Adam Frisch to 30 faithful Delta County voters at DogHouse Espresso on Main Street in downtown Delta this afternoon. They sipped their delicious, fair trade, organic coffee and listened to Adam’s message for nearly an hour. The focus of his talk was centered on water, energy, jobs, and his promise to make sure rural America becomes a focus again in Washington, DC. His message was well received by the engaged crowd.
Adam emphasized that with a shrinking water supply and ever increasing need from downstream states and the Front Range, our district’s water is under threat. He spoke to the enthusiastic voters about how critical the 3rd Congressional District’s water issues are and how he will fight to keep outside interests from making decisions about our water and how he will work to provide funding for healthy watersheds, increased storage, modernized water infrastructure and better conservation practices. “I will do whatever it takes to protect Colorado’s water and keep it in its home basins”, he assured the Delta County voters who were there to listen to the 3rd Congressional District candidate.
Adam spent some time with voters after he spoke about the main issues he’ll be discussing during his campaign from now until the November 5th election. He answered questions and took photos with many of the voters that turned up at the DogHouse. The event was cordial and Adam was well received by these stead-fast Delta County voters.
